The Aurora Civic Center Authority (ACCA), an innovative organization located on Stolp Island in the Fox River in the heart of the richly diverse community of historic Aurora, Illinois (one hour from downtown Chicago), is seeking a full-time Event Coordinator. Event Coordinator will report to Special Events Director and work closely with the Rentals Mgr. and other Event Coordinators, Full time exempt; hours vary and may include evenings and weekends and are event dependent

The Village of Montgomery is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department. The primary focus of this position will be to perform customer service for the Water Division. Customer service responsibilities involve water meter installations and replacement, along with personal interaction with homeowners. Starting pay is $25.06 per hour (full range is currently $25.06 – $33.83 per hour.) Annual wage increases are based upon job performance. Police Officer- Lateral Entry
The Montgomery Police Department is made up of 33 sworn officers who provide protection and policing services to over 20,000 residents and businesses within the Village limits. Our department strives hard each day to provide exceptional public service, demonstrate community pride, and maintain public safety throughout our community.
If you are currently or were recently employed as a full-time (non-probationary), Illinois certified law enforcement officer and are interested in becoming a Police Officer for the Village of Montgomery, IL we encourage you to apply.
Transfers are eligible for a starting salary of up to $90,708, dependent upon prior years of experience. Lateral candidates shall be considered entry-level employees in all other ways. Patrol officers work 12 hours shifts which provide them with a three-day weekend every other week. Montgomery Police officers also receive annual sick and vacation leave time, Holiday pay, personal days, and medical and dental insurance beginning day one of employment.
Applicants must be at least 23 years of age at the time of appointment and must be currently or recently employed as a full-time (non-probationary), Illinois certified law enforcement officer.
All lateral transfer entry process candidates must provide documentation to show that they are currently or recently were employed as a full-time certified Peace Officer in the State of Illinois. Applicants must provide documentation that they have fulfilled the requirements of the Illinois Police Training Act.
Lateral transfer entry candidates who meet these requirements and are selected for entry will not be required to take an entry-level written exam or entry-level physical agility exam. Lateral transfer entry candidates will be required to complete all other phases of the entry process before an offer of employment.
